How to login to Wits Student Portal
To login to Wits Student Portal, please follow these steps:
1. Go to the Wits website and log in.
2. Click on the “Student Portal” link in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
3. Enter your user name and password in the login form and click on “Log In”.
4. You will then be taken to the main Student Portal page.
5. Click on the “My Account” button on the left-hand side of the screen to view your account details.
How to add an organization to your portal
Adding an organization to your Wits portal is easy. Follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Wits portal.
2. Click on the “My Organizations” link on the top right of the screen.
3. Click on the “Add an Organization” button.
4. Fill out the required information and click on the “Submit” button.
5. Congratulations! Your organization has been added to your Wits portal!
How to password protect your portal
If you are like many WITS students, you might want to password protect your portal to keep your information safe. This guide will show you how to do just that.
First, open the "Settings" menu on your portal. Click on "Password Protect This Portal."
You will be prompted to enter a password. Make sure that you remember this password! You will need it to unlock the portal later on.
Now, you will need to create a new password. To do this, click on the "New Password" button. You will be prompted to enter your current password as well as a new password. Make sure that you choose a strong password!
After setting up your password, make sure that you remember it! You will need it to access the portal later on.
How to manage your portal account
If you are new to Wits Portal, or if you have forgotten your portal password, follow these steps to login:
1. Log in to your portal account by clicking on the "login" button in the top right-hand corner of the homepage.
2. Enter your username and password and click on the "log in" button.
3. If you have forgotten your password, click on the "forgot my password?" link below the login form and enter your username and email address where you registered for a portal account. They will send you a temporary password to use while you reset your password.
4. If you have never registered for a portal account, click on the "create new account" link below the login form and enter your desired username and email address where you want to register for an account. You will be asked to confirm this information before proceeding.
5. Once you have logged in, click on the "My Portals" tab at the top of the page to see a list of all of your portals, their contents, and any notes you have added about them. You can also manage your subscriptions to Wits newsletters and RSS feeds
How to report a problem with Wits Student Portal
If you are having trouble logging into your Wits Student Portal account, or if you have any other problem with the site, please follow these instructions to report the issue.
1. Click on the ‘Login’ button in the top right corner of the homepage.
2. Enter your Wits Username and Password in the login form and click on ‘Login’.
3. If you are having trouble logging in because you have forgotten your Username or Password, click on ‘Forgot Your Username or Password?’ to get help.
4. If you are having trouble logging in because you think your Username or Password is incorrect, please enter the details of a valid Username or Password in the ‘Invalid User Name or Password?’ field and click on ‘Report a Problem’.
5. If you are having trouble logging in because you think someone else is using your account, please enter your Username and password one more time and click on ‘Report a Problem’.
