How to sign in to the Ucsb Portal
The Ucsb Portal is a web-based portal that provides access to a variety of campus information and resources. To sign in, follow these simple steps:
1. From any web browser on campus, type the following address into the address bar: https://portal.ucsb.edu
2. Enter your NetID and password (if applicable). If you have forgotten your NetID or password, click the Forgot Your Password link on the left side of the login screen.
3. Click Sign In. If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to log in with your NetID and password.
How to create an account
To create an account on the UC Santa Barbara Portal, please follow these steps:
1. Log in to your UCSC account using your username and password. If you have not yet registered for an account, please do so now. Once you are logged in, click on "Accounts" at the top of the page.
2. Click on "New Account" at the bottom of the Accounts page. You will be prompted to enter your first and last name as well as your email address. Click on "Create Account" to create your account. Your account is now created!

How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, you can change it here.
First, click on the Login link on the top right of the page.
Type in your username (the name you used to create your account) and your password into the appropriate fields. If you have forgotten your password, please contact them at [email protected] and we will be happy to help you reset it.
Once you have entered your information and hit the submit button, you will be redirected to the login screen. Enter your new password into the appropriate field and hit the login button. You are now logged in to UCSB Portal!

How to manage your account
If you have forgotten your password, or if you have not logged in for a while, you can manage your account from their website.
1. Click the login link on the top menu of their website.
2. Enter your username and password in the login form, and click the login button.
3. If you have registered for an account with them, you will be automatically logged in. If not, please enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields, and click the register button.
4. You will now be taken to the main menu of their website where you can explore all of their features!
