If you are a Ssu student and have not registered for the portal, now is the time to do so! The portal is a great resource that offers information on classes, campus life, services and more. Registration is free and easy to do.
In order to login and access the portal, follow these simple steps:
1. Go to http://portal.ssu.edu/.
2. In the top left corner of the screen, click on "Login."
3. Enter your SSU username (usually your first name followed by "s") and password (usually your last name followed by "p").
4. Click on "Sign In."
5. You will be redirected to the homepage of the portal. Congratulations! You are now logged in to the portal!
How to sign-in to Ssu Student Portal
Sign-in to the Ssu Student Portal by clicking on the "Login" link on the home screen of the portal.
Enter your ID and password and click on the "Sign In" button.
You will be automatically redirected to the homepage of the portal.
How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, please follow these steps to change it:
1. Log in to the Ssu Portal.
2. Click on "My Account" on the top right-hand corner.
3. On the "My Account" page, click on the "Password Change" link in the upper right-hand corner.
4. Enter your current password in the "New Password" box and click on the "Change Password" button.
5. Enter your new password in the "New Password" box and click on the "Change Password" button.
How to create an account
If you are a first time visitor to Ssu Portal, we recommend that you create an account. To create an account, follow these steps:
Log in to your Ssu Portal account by clicking on the Log In button in the top right corner of the homepage. If you have not created an account yet and you are a current Ssu student, click on the Login link in the top left corner of the homepage. If you are not a current Ssu student, click on the Join Ssu Portal button on this page and follow the instructions. Enter your full name (first and last) and email address in the appropriate fields and click on the Sign In button. You will be taken to a new page where you can enter your password. After you have entered your password, click on the OK button. You will now be taken to your Account Overview page where you can see all of your information. You can also see how many courses you are currently registered for and which professors assigned them to you. If you want to make any changes to your information or register for additional courses, please visit their Registration website.
How to manage your academic information
The Ssu Student Portal is a great way to keep track of your academic progress, add new courses, and stay up-to-date on your academic calendar. Here are steps to login and manage your account:
1. Go to https://portal.ssu.edu/.
2. Log in using your NetID and password.
3. Click the My Academics tab at the top of the page.
4. Click the Add New Course button to add a new course.
5. Enter the course title, description, credits, and start date/time.
6. Click the Save button when you're finished editing the course information.
7. Click the My Academics tab at the top of the page again to view your current courses and credits earned for each one.
8. To add or drop a course, click on the Courses tab at the top of the page and select from the list of courses available to you. You will be prompted to update your enrollment status for that course before you can begin taking it.
