Many people are familiar with theming a mouse and keyboard to navigate their computer, but what about those who are not? In this tutorial, we will show you how to use a portal navigation system to login to your computer.
How to login to your portal
To login to your portal, follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Login" button in the top right corner of your portal.
2. Enter your username and password. If you have not set a password, Portal will automatically create one for you and fill it in.
3. Click on the "Log In" button to log in and return to the main screen of your portal.
How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, follow these easy steps: Login to portal.ucsd.edu using your UC San Diego email address and password. Click on the "Forgot Password?" link in the login screen. Enter your email address and click on the "Create New Password" link. Type your new password into the "New Password" box and click on the "Save" button.
How to reset your password
If you have forgotten your login credentials for a portal, there are a few things you can do to reset your password.
First, make sure you are logged in to the portal. If not, click the "Log In" button at the top of the page.
Next, click the "Account" tab on the left side of the page.
In the "Password Reset" section, enter your email address and click the "Reset Password" button.
You will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
How to report a problem with your Portal
If you are having trouble logging into your Portal, please follow these steps:
1. Visit the Portal's home page and click on "Login".
2. Enter your login name and password.
3. If you are having difficulty logging in because you have forgotten your login name or password, please contact customer service at 1-866-723-2624 and provide your email address and the last four digits of your social security number.
4. If you are still having difficulties logging in, please try one of the following solutions: a) Reset your password by clicking on "Reset Password" located on the right side of the login form; b) Click on "Forgot Your Password?" located below the login form; or c) Contact customer service at 1-866-723-2624 and provide your email address and the last four digits of your social security number.
How to unsubscribe from their email newsletters
If you no longer wish to receive their email newsletters, you can unsubscribe by clicking on the link at the bottom of any email we send and entering your email address in the form that appears. You will then be taken to a confirmation page where you can click on the link to unsubscribe.
