OGEFA, or the Office of General Education and Financial Aid, oversees all NCMC financial aid programs. There are three ways to apply for financial aid: the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), the CSS Profile, or the NCMC Scholarship Application.
The FAFSA is the most common way to apply for financial aid. The FAFSA is available on the web and at most high schools. The NCMC Scholarship Application can be downloaded from the NCMC website and is required for some scholarships.
The CSS Profile is a free application that can be used to estimate your eligibility for various types of financial assistance. It can also be used to apply for merit-based scholarships, which are awarded based on academic achievement as well as other factors.
