How to login to the Northampton Planning Portal
If you are a Northampton Borough Council user and you have forgotten your password, or if you have lost your username and password, please follow the steps below to login to the Planning Portal.:
1) If you are using a computer at home, please enter your login details on the login screen that appears when you first visit the portal. You may need to type in your username (which is normally the email address that you registered with them) and password (which is the same as your login name). If you have not registered with them, then leave this field blank and click on 'Log In'.
2) If you are using a computer at work, please enter your login details in the login screen that appears when you first visit the portal. The login screen will usually be displayed when you first open up a new browser window or tab on your work computer. If it does not appear, please contact your line manager for further guidance. Once logged in, select 'Home' from the top menu bar and then select 'Northampton Planning Portal' from the list of web pages that appears.

How to create a new account
If you are new to the Northampton Planning Portal, or if you have forgotten your login details, follow these simple steps to create a new account:
1. Go to the Login page and enter your email address and password.
2. Click on the Create Account button to create your account.
3. You will be redirected to your Profile page. Here you will see all of the information about your account, including your name and role in the portal.
4. To access content specific to your role in the planning process, click on the link in your Profile header (e.g. Council Member). You will then be able to access all of the articles, blog posts and resources that are specific to that area of planning work.
How to manage your account
If you don't have a password, enter your email address below to receive a password reset code. If you have forgotten your password, please enter your email address and we will send you a new one.

How to view your account information
If you have not already done so, you will need to create an account on the Northampton Planning Portal. To do this, please login using the following information:
