If you're a member of the National Conference of State Legislatures (Ncsl), you may have noticed that your login has changed. In order to log in to Ncsl's website, you will now need to create an account and use your unique member ID. Here's how to do it:
First, head over to ncsl.org and sign in if you aren't already logged in.
Once you are logged in, click on the "Membership" tab at the top of the page.
On the Membership page, select "Create an Account" from the drop-down menu.
Enter your name, email address, and password in the appropriate fields and click on the "Create Account" button.
You will now be taken to a page where you can create your account ID. This is a unique identifier that you will use to log in to Ncsl's website in the future. To generate your account ID, click on the "My Account" link located in the top right-hand corner of the membership page. On this My Account page, select "Your Member ID" from the drop-down menu and click on the "Generate My Member ID
How to login to Ncsl
Ncsl is a membership organization that focuses on the needs of libraries and library professionals. To login to Ncsl, visit their website and enter your username and password. If you have not created a user account with Ncsl, you can create an account using the steps below.
1. Go to the Ncsl website at www.ncsl.org
2. Enter your username (e.g., "John Doe") and password (e.g., "password"). Note: If you are a library professional who already has an account with NCSL, your username is likely your email address (e.g., "[email protected]").
3. Click on "login." You will then be taken to the login screen where you can enter your first and last name as well as your email address if you have one registered with NCSL. If you do not have an email address registered with NCSL, click on "create new account" and enter your name, location, phone number, and email address in the corresponding fields.
How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, click the "Forgot Password?" link on the login page. You will be prompted to enter your email address and password. If you have lost your login information, please contact [email protected].
