How to login to the Macalester Application Portal
If you are a new user of the Macalester Application Portal, or have forgotten your username and password, please follow these instructions.
How to create an account
If you are a new student at Macalester, you will need an account in order to access many of their online resources. Follow these steps to create your account:
-Go to the MyMacalester site and click on Login.
-In the Login screen, enter your user name and password.
-Click on the Create an Account button.
-On the next screen, enter your first and last name (first and last initial is optional), email address, and password.
-Click on the Create Account button.
-You will be taken to a confirmation page. Click on the Log In button to finish creating your account.
How to access your application materials
If you have forgotten your login credentials, you can access your application materials by following these instructions:
1. Click on the "My Macalester" link in the top left corner of the portal.
2. Enter your e-mail address and password in the appropriate fields and click on the "Log In" button.

How to submit your application
If you have already created your Macalester application and would like to submit it through the portal, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the Macalester Application Portal. If you are not currently logged in, you can create a new account by clicking on the "Create an Account" link at the top of the page.
2. Click on the "My Applications" tab at the top of the page.
3. Click on the "Submit an Application" link next to the application you wish to submit.
4. Please review all of the information associated with this application submission process, and then click on the "Submit Application" button at the bottom of the page.
How to view your application status
If you have an active Macalester application, you can view your application status on the Macalester Application Portal. To sign in to the portal, click the Sign In link in the upper right corner of the portal. You will be asked to enter your Macalester username and password. If you do not have a Macalester username or password, you can create one by clicking the Create Account link in the upper right corner of the portal. Once you are signed in, you will see a list of all of your active applications under My Applications. The status of each application is indicated by a green check mark if it has been completed and is ready for consideration, or a red X if it is still in progress.
