How to login to the Nwis Parent Portal
The Nwis Parent Portal is a great way for parents and guardians to manage important school and student information. To login, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your MyNwis account. If you do not have an account, create one now.
2. Click the Login link at the top of the page. Enter your MyNwis username and password (or create a new password).
3. Click the Parent Portal link on the left side of the page. Enter your school ID number (found on your school's website or ID card) or name if you are a parent/guardian with multiple children in different schools.
4. Click Activate to activate your account and start using the Nwis Parent Portal!
How to use the Nwis Parent Portal
The Nwis Parent Portal is a web-based system that parents can use to keep track of their children's school, health and other activities. To use the portal, parents need to create an account and log in. Here are steps on how to do both:
1) Go to the Nwis Parent Portal home page at www.nwispublicschools.org/npps/.
2) Click on "Sign In" in the top right corner of the screen.
3) Enter your login credentials and click on "Sign In."
4) If you have already created an account, click on "Login" in the top left corner of the screen.
5) If you haven't yet created an account, click on "Create Account" and follow the instructions.
6) Once you've logged in, you'll see the main screen of the portal. On this screen you'll find links to important information about your child's school: Grades, Attendance, Records, Alerts and Messages. You'll also find links to important information about your child's health: Immunizations and Sick Note History.

How to change your user name or password
If you have forgotten your user name or password, please follow these instructions.
To change your user name:
1) Log in to your Parent Portal account.
2) Click on the “My Account” tab.
3) In the “Personal Info” section, click on the “User Name” link.
4) Enter your new user name and click on the “Submit” button.
5) You will be prompted to enter your password again. Please remember to change this password once you have changed it!
To change your password:

4) Enter your current password and click on the “Submit” button.

How to unsubscribe from the Nwis Parent Portal
To unsubscribe from the Nwis Parent Portal, please follow these steps:
1. Log into your account at https://parentportal.nwisd.edu/.
2. Click on "My Account" in the top left corner of the screen.
3. On the "My Account" page, click on "Manage Subscriptions."
4. Click on the red "Unsubscribe" button next to the Nwis Parent Portal subscription you wish to unsubscribe from.
