Local 19 is a professional association with over 14,000 members in the greater Philadelphia area. To keep their members up to date on the latest news and events, we created a member portal where they can sign in to read member-only content, join discussion boards, and access their member profile.
In this article, we will show you how to create and maintain a member portal using Local 19's own software.
How to login to the Local Member Portal
To login to the Local Member Portal, you will need your Member ID and password. To find your Member ID and password, please click on the "My Account" tab on the Local Member Portal home page. On the My Account page, you will see a box called "My Profile." In this box, you will find your Member ID and password. Please remember to keep your Member ID and password confidential. If you ever lose your Member ID or password, please contact them at [email protected] for help recovering them.
How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, or if you want to change it, you can do so through the local member portal.
To login to the member portal, first go to the home page and click on “Login” in the top right corner. This will take you to the login screen.
On this screen, you will need to enter your email address and password. If you have not registered for an account yet, you will need to provide your name and email address as well. Once you have entered these details, click on “Log In” in the top right corner.
If you have registered for an account, simply click on “Login” and then on “My Account” in the top left corner. This will take you to the main screen of the member portal. Here, you can see all of your account information, as well as your password and security question.

How to unsubscribe from newsletters
If you no longer wish to receive the newsletters sent out by their Local Member Portal, you can unsubscribe from them by following these steps:
Log in to your Local Member Portal account. Click on the "Notifications" tab. Find the newsletter you want to unsubscribe from and click on the "Unsubscribe" button next to it.
