If you are having trouble logging in to the Istep Parent Portal, follow these simple steps:
1. Make sure that you have the most recent Istep Parent Portal software installed on your computer. To do this, go to http://www.ispep.com and click on the “Download” button next to the Istep Parent Portal logo.
2. Double-click on the “Istep Parent Portal” icon that you just downloaded. This will open up the program in your default browser.
3. Log in using your school username and password. If you don't know your school username or password, please contact your school's IT department.
4. Once you have logged in, click on the “Parent Portal” tab at the top of the screen. This will show you all of your student's information, including their current grades, assignments, and notes.
How to login to Istep
If you have not already done so, please register for an account at http://www.istep.org/login.aspx. Once registered, click on the "For Parents..." tab in the main menu and follow the instructions to create an account or login. Once logged in, you will see a list of your recent activity on Istep.
To access your child's account, click on "My Account" in the main menu and then click on "View My Children's Accounts". You will be prompted to enter your child's name and password.
How to add a new student
The Istep Parent Portal is a great way for parents to stay connected with their students. If you have not already signed up for an account, you can do so by clicking on the link below. Once you have logged in, you will be able to add new students and manage your existing students’ accounts.
To add a new student, follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Add New Student" button located in the upper right corner of the home page.
2. Enter the student’s name and email address into the appropriate fields and click submit.
3. You will receive an email notification confirming that the student has been added to your account.
4. You can now view and manage your student’s account information from within the Parent Portal.

If you are a parent of a student who is currently in a group, and you want to add or remove your child from the group, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the Istep Parent Portal.
2. Click on Groups in the left menu.
3. Find the group your child is currently in and click on it.
4. If your child is not already listed in the group, click on Add Child at the top of the page to add them.
5. If your child is already listed in the group, click on Remove Child at the top of the page to remove them from the group.

How to view your grades
If you have an ISTEP account, you can view your grades from any device with internet access. To view your grades:
-Log in to the ISTEP Parent Portal.
-Click on My Account in the upper right corner of the page.
-Scroll down to the Grades section and click on View Grades.
-You will be prompted to enter your username and password. Once you have logged in, you will see a list of all of your courses and grades for that semester.
How to view your attendance and classroom participation
If you are logged in to your Istep Parent Portal, you can view your attendance and classroom participation. To login:
1. Click on the home screen of your Istep Parent Portal.
2. In the upper right corner, click on the "Login" button.
3. Enter your login credentials (username and password).
4. Click on the "Logout" button in the lower right corner of the login screen.
