2. On the left-hand side of the screen, under “Parent Portal,” click “Students.”
3. In the “Students” section, click on the name of your student.
4. On the right-hand side of the screen, under “Details,” click on “Add new student.”
5. In the “Add new student” window, enter your student’s full name and ID number.
6. Click “Next.”
7. In the “Add new student summary” window, fill out all the information about your student, such as their grade level and extracurricular activities.
8. Click “Next.”

How to view your student’s grades
Insight School of Michigan Parent Portal allows parents to view their student’s grades and attendance information. Parents can also add comments and questions about their child’s academics. Logging in is simple and requires entering your username and password. The Parent Portal is available to parents of students in grades kindergarten through twelveth grade.

3. In the "Name" section, enter your child’s new name. The new name will appear in the "Active" column and will be used by the school system to communicate with your child. Please note that your child’s middle name (if applicable) should also be entered in this section.
4. Click on the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page. Your student’s name will now be updated in all school records and communication forms.
