Erie Sd Parent Portal, or ESDP, is a website that parents and guardians use to keep track of their children's school and activity information. In order to login to the website, you need to have your Erie Sd ID number and password. Here are the steps you need to take to login:
1) Go to http://esdp.erie.gov/, click on "Login," and enter your Erie Sd ID number and password.
2) If you have an email address associated with your Erie Sd ID, enter it in the Email Address field. If you don't have an email address, enter your Erie Sd ID number in the Username field and leave the Email Address field blank.
3) Click on the Login button to finish logging in.

Adding a new student
Adding a new student to Erie SD can be done in two ways. The first way is to use the Erie SD Parent Portal. The second way is to add the student manually through Erie SD's online registration system.
To add a new student through Erie SD's Parent Portal, visit http://www.erie-sd.org/parentportal and log in using your ErieSD Username and Password. Once you are logged in, click on the "Students" tab to view all of your students. To add a new student, click on "Add new Student" and fill out the fields necessary for creating a new student record. The most important fields are the Student's Name, Email Address, and Phone Number. Once you have completed the form, click "Submit." Your new student record will now be available for viewing on the Parents Portal. If you are a parent or guardian and have an Erie SD account, you can view your student’s grades online. To login to the parent portal, follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Parent Portal Login" link in the main menu of the Erie SD website.
2. Enter your Erie SD username and password in the appropriate fields and click "Log In."
3. You will be brought to a page where you can view your student’s grades and attendance information.

1. Log in to your Erie SD Parent Portal account at www.erie.sd.us/parentportal (or if you have already logged in, click “My Account” in the upper right corner of the screen).
2. From the “My Account” page, click on “Login.”
3. Enter your username and password and click on the “Log In” button.
4. If you have two or more children in Erie SD schools, you will need to create a separate account for each child. You will then be able to access each child’s information through their individual account. To create an account for a child, click on the “Add a Child” link below their name on the My Account page and follow the instructions.

If you need to disconnect a student from the Erie Sd Parent Portal, please follow these steps:
1. Navigate to http://www.erieSD.org/parentportal and sign in.
2. Under the "Students" tab, locate the student's name and click on their picture.
3. On the "Student Information" page, under the "Disconnecting Student" heading, find the "Disconnect My Student" button and click on it.
Sending a letter to a student
If you have a concern or issue with a student, it's important to take the time to write them a letter. Letters can be used to apologize for your behavior, provide explanations, and/or ask for forgiveness. Here's how to send a letter to a student:
1. Find their school ID number. This can be found on their transcripts, in their student handbook, or on the website where they receive information about Erie School District events.

3. Write your letter and gather any supporting documents (transcripts, letters from other educators, etc). Make sure to keep copies of everything!
4. Mail the letter to the student's home address.
