How to login to the Epping Forest Planning Portal
If you are a registered user of the Epping Forest Planning Portal, then you will be familiar with the login process. If not, please follow these instructions to register and create your account:
1. Go to www.epng.org and click on the 'login' link in the top right-hand corner of the home page.
2. Enter your username (this is your email address) and password into the fields provided and click on the 'login' button.

Epping Forest Planning Portal is a fantastic online tool which can be used to plan walks, cycle rides and hikes in the forest.
To access the portal, you first need to create an account. This can be done by clicking on the 'Sign In' link at the top of the homepage. Once you have logged in, you will be able to explore the different areas of the portal.
The first thing you will want to do is find your way around. The main navigation area is on the left-hand side of the screen and features tabs for 'Walking', 'Cycling' and 'Hiking'. Under each category, there are individual pages which list all of the available trails and routes.
If you are looking for a particular walk or cycle ride, it is worth trying searching for it using the 'Advanced Search' box at the top of the page. This allows you to specify specific criteria such as length, difficulty or distance. You can also filter results by adding keywords.
Once you have found what you are looking for, it is easy to print out a map of the route or view it online. Another great feature of this portal is that it includes live tracking
How to find planning documents
To find planning documents for Epping Forest, you can use the Planning Portal. Follow these steps to login:
1) Go to https://planningportal.eppingforest.gov.uk/.
2) Enter your postcode in the top left box and click on «Search».
3) On the results page, select «Epping Forest» from the «Area» drop-down menu and click on «Go».
4) On the planning documents page, select a document type from the list on the left («Planning Document Type List»).
5) In the «Document Type» box, enter «Planning Document» and click on «Find Now».
6) You will be presented with a list of relevant documents. Select one and click on «Open».
How to submit a comment or complaint
You can submit a comment or complaint about the Forest by logging in and clicking on "Submit a Comment" at the bottom of any Forest page.
Once you are logged in, follow these steps:
1. In the left navigation bar, click on "Comments and Complaints".
2. Click on "Submit a Comment".
3. Fill out the form and click on "Submit Comment".
How to access maps and aerial images of Epping Forest
To access maps and aerial images of Epping Forest, you will need to login to the Planning Portal. You can do this by visiting https://www.eppingforest.gov.uk/planning-portal/. Once you have logged in, you will be able to access a range of mapping and imaging tools.
