Deakin Portal is a free online portal that provides access to a range of services and resources for students, staff, and alumni at Deakin University. If you are having trouble logging in, follow the steps below to get started.
What is Deakin Portal?
Deakin Portal is an online student portal that provides you with access to your Deakin Student Account, enrolment and course information, resources and services, and communication with the Deakin community. You can login to your Deakin Portal account by clicking on the Login link in the header of any page. Once you have logged in, you will be able to: view your MyDeakin pages (where you manage your personal settings and preferences);
check your current enrolment status;
access course information and resources;
send messages to other students, staff and faculty; and

How to Login to Deakin Portal
If you are having trouble logging into your Deakin Portal account, follow these easy steps.
First, make sure that you have the latest version of the Deakin Portal app installed on your device. This can be found in the App Store or Google Play store.
Once you have the app installed and logged in, open it and click on the ‘Settings’ tab at the top. Under ‘Login Accounts’, select your portal account from the drop-down menu and enter your login credentials.
If you have multiple accounts set up on the app, you can also add them as login credentials by clicking on the ‘Add Account’ button next to the username field.
If everything is working correctly, you should now see your portal account listed under ‘Active Login Accounts’. Simply enter your username and password into the fields below and hit ‘Login’ to log in.
How to Register for an Account on Deakin Portal
If you are a current Deakin student, staff or alumni, you will be able to login to your account on Deakin Portal. If you are not currently a Deakin student, staff or alumni, please follow the steps below to register for an account and gain access to the same features and services as current students and staff.
To register for an account on Deakin Portal:
1. Log into your Deakin Portal account (you will need your username and password).
2. On the Home page, click on 'My Account'.
3. On the My Account page, under 'Login Options', select 'Register for an account'.
4. Enter your full name and email address in the appropriate fields and click 'Register now'. You will receive an email notification confirming that your registration has been successful.
5. Once you have registered for an account, you will be able to log into your account at any time by clicking on the 'Log In' button on the My Account page.
How to Change Your Password on Deakin Portal
If you have forgotten your Deakin Portal password, or if you want to change it, follow these simple steps:
To change your password on Deakin Portal, follow these steps:
1. Log into Deakin Portal using your username and password.
2. Click the "My Account" link in the top right corner of the page.
3. Under "My Profile", click the "Change Password" link.
4. Enter your new password in the "New Password" field and confirm it by clicking the "Change Password" button.
5. Click the "Logout" button to exit Deakin Portal.
How to View Your Account Information on Deakin Portal
If you have forgotten your Deakin Portal login information, or just want to check your account status, you can view your account information on the Deakin Portal website. To log in to the Deakin Portal website, follow these instructions:
1. Go to www.deakin.edu.au
2. In the top left corner of the screen, click on the ‘Login’ link
3. Enter your Deakin Portal login and password (these are the same as your MyDeakin portal login)
4. Click on ‘Log In’ (or ‘Sign In’ if you have already signed in) to enter your account information
5. You will be taken to a page where you can view all of your account information, including your course enrolment details and grades (if you have submitted any).
