Resident portal login is required for all students who are registered on campus housing and residing in one of the residence halls or apartments. You can find more information about resident portal login instructions in the Campus Quarters Resident Portal User Guide.
What is the Campus Quarters Resident Portal?
The Campus Quarters Resident Portal is a online service that allows residents to manage their account, check their account balance, view their account history and make payments. To login, residents must have a NetID and password.
Residents can access the portal by visiting http://portal.campusquarters.com/. The home page of the portal displays the current month and year, as well as the current time. Below this information is a list of categories: My Account, Payment History, My Bills, Events & Programs, and News & Updates.
My Account lets residents access their personal information, such as their name, email address and NetID. Residents can also update this information if they change it. Payment History lists all the payments made through the resident portal, as well as when they were made. My Bills lists all the bills that residents have received through the portal, including when they were sent and what charges are associated with them. Events & Programs shows which events and programs are currently being offered at Campus Quarters, and News & Updates provides updates about Campus Quarters news and events.
Residents can also use the My Bills and My Accounts pages to print out or email bills or accounts to themselves or others
How to Login to the Resident Portal
The Campus Quarters Resident Portal is a centralized location for residents to manage their account information, schedules, and communication preferences. To login, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Campus Quarters Resident Portal website (http://residents.ucsd.edu).
2. Enter your username and password in the login form on the homepage.
3. You will be taken to your personalized homepage. In the top left corner, you will see a blue "Home" button; clicking on this will take you back to the main page of the portal. If you need help logging in, please contact the Housing Services office at (858) 534-7151 or [email protected].
How to Navigate through the Portal
To login to the Campus Quarters Resident Portal, follow these simple steps:
1. Click on the “Login” button in the top right corner of the homepage.
2. Enter your user name and password.
3. If you have successfully logged in, you will be able to access all of the available resources on the portal.
How to Request an Access Code
If you are a Resident on campus and wish to access your Resident Portal, you will need an access code. To request an access code, please follow these steps:
1. Login to the MyUCSB website and click on the Access and Security link in the left-hand navigation bar.
2. On the Access and Security page, click on the Request an Access Code link in the right-hand column.
3. On the Request an Access Code page, enter your full name and UW ID number in the appropriate fields, and then click Submit.
4. A confirmation message will be sent to your email address, and a unique access code will be attached to it. Please print out this code and bring it with you when you visit the Resident Portal in order to gain access.
How to Change Your Password
If you forget your password, use the link below to reset it. After you reset your password, you will need to create a new password.

How to Report a Issue with the Portal
If you are having an issue logging into the Campus Quarters Resident Portal, please follow these steps:
-Open the Chrome browser on your device and go to https://portal.ucsd.edu/.
-Enter your NetID and password.
-If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to login.
-Select the "My Account" link on the right side of the page.
-Select the "Report a Issue" link on the left side of the My Account page.
-Enter your issue information and click submit.
