How to login to the Ca Student Portal
The Ca Student Portal is a website that provides access to a variety of services and resources for students at the California State University (CSU) system. To login, visit csf.edu and click on "Login" in the upper right-hand corner. Enter your username and password, and you're ready to go!

How to change your password
If you forget your password, follow these steps to change it:
-Go to ca.edu and sign in using your username and password.
-Click on “Password & Security” in the top right corner of the screen.
-Click on “Change Password” in the left column.

How to Report a Security Issue
If you experience a security issue on the Ca Student Portal, please follow these steps to report it:
1. Log in to your account on the Ca Student Portal.
2. Click on "My Account" in the top navigation bar.
3. On the "My Account" page, click on the "Report a Security Issue" link in the left sidebar.

How to Access Your Academic Records
If you are a student at a CA school, your academic record is important to you. Here we explain how to access your records online.
To access your academic records, sign in to your CA account and go to My Account. From here, click on Academics on the left-hand side of the screen. You will see a list of all of your courses, grades, and transcripts. To view more detailed information about any of these items, click on it.
If you need to update or change any information in your academic record, click on Edit Details in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. This will open up a new window where you can enter the new information. You can also order transcripts or diplomas through this same portal.
How to Unsubscribe from Email Updates
If you no longer wish to receive email notifications from the Ca Student Portal, you can unsubscribe at any time by following these instructions:
- Log in to the Ca Student Portal.
- Click on your name in the top right corner of the screen.
- Under "My Academics" on the left side of the screen, click on "Email Updates."
- On the "Email Updates" page, under "Unsubscribe from Email Updates" and beneath all of your other email subscriptions, click on "Unsubscribe."
How to Change Your Communication Preferences
If you would like to change the communication preferences for your Ca Student Portal account, please follow these instructions:
1. Log in to your Ca Student Portal account and click on the “My Account” tab located on the top left-hand side of the screen.
2. On the My Account page, scroll down to the “Settings” section and select “Communication Preferences”.
3. On the Communication Preferences screen, you will be able to change your preferred communication mode for various types of messages: Email, Text Message, Phone Call, and Social Media Posting. To change a preference, simply click on the relevant button and select the type of communication you would like to use from the options that appear.
