Login on www.microsoftonline.com
If you are not already logged in, you will need to sign in first. To do this, click the login link in the upper-left corner of the page.
Once you are logged in, you can access your account information, blog posts, and other content by clicking on the My Account tab on the left side of the page.
If you have forgotten your password, click the Forgot Password link on the login page and follow the instructions.

Sign in with your Microsoft account
Sign in with your Microsoft account to access the web portal.
1. Open the web browser on your computer and enter www.microsoftonline.com in the address bar.
2. Click Sign In on the right side of the web page.
3. Enter your user name and password, and then click Sign In again.
4. If you're signed in to your Microsoft account already, you'll be taken to the main web page. If not, you'll be prompted to sign in.
5. Congratulations! You've successfully logged in to the web portal!
Find your My Account page
If you're not already logged in, go to the My Account page and login with your user name and password. If you don't have a user name or password, create a new account now.
Change your password
If you have forgotten your Microsoft Online password, you can change it through your user profile page. Follow these steps: 1. From your user profile page, click the Edit Profile button. 2. On the Sign In tab, enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields, and then click Sign In. 3. On the Change Password tab, enter your current password in the New Password field and then click Change Password. 4. Click Finish to complete the process.
Restore your Microsoft account if it's been lost or stolen
If you've lost your Microsoft account, you can restore it if you have the email address and password associated with the account.
You can also restore your Microsoft account if you've stolen it and need to replace the account.
To restore your Microsoft account, follow these steps:
1. Go to http://portal.microsoftonline.com/.
2. Sign in using your email address and password.
3. Click Restore my account if it's been lost or stolen.
4. Enter your email address and password, and click Restore my account.
Connect to Microsoft services
If you're not a Microsoft account holder, you can connect to some of the company's services by creating an account. Once you have an account, you can access various Microsoft services, such as Office 365, Cortana, and OneDrive.
To create an account, visit the Microsoft website and sign in. If you don't have a Microsoft account, you'll need to create one first. After signing in, click the "Create an account" link on the top left corner of the page.
You'll be asked to provide your name, email address, and password. Once you've entered all the requested information, click the "Create an account" button to finish creating your account.
Once your account is created, you'll be taken to the main page of the website. In the top right corner of this page,click the link that says "Sign in". Enter your email address and password into the appropriate fields and click "sign in". You'll now be taken to the login screen for your newly created Microsoft account.

Activate Windows
Windows activation is a process of registering your copy of Windows with Microsoft and providing verification of your product key. After activation, you will be able to use your product key to activate other copies of Windows that you own.
To activate Windows:
1. Go to the Start screen and search for "Activation."
2. When Activation opens, click on the link to Activate Windows (see Figure 1).
3. On the Activation page, enter your product key and click Next (see Figure 2).
4. If you have previously activated Windows using a digital license, you will be prompted to enter your digital license key (see Figure 3). If you have not activated Windows using a digital license, you will be prompted to enter your product key (see Figure 4).
5. Click Activate. You will now see a message confirming that Windows has been activated (see Figure 5).
If you are prompted to reactivate your operating system, do so. Note that if you have installed any updates since activating Windows, you will need to restart your computer after activating Windows in order to take advantage of the updates.
