How to use the Williams College Library
Williams College is a private liberal arts college in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The college was founded in 1793 as a training ground for the clergy and it was originally named Washington Academy. The library has wide-ranging holdings, including collections of American Literature, American History, Natural Sciences, and Classical Studies. In order to use the library facilities you must first login. To do this, go to the main menu on the front page of the website and select “Library”. Then select “Login” from the drop-down menu. Enter your username (usually your first and last name) and password. Once you have logged in, you will be able to access all of the library’s resources.

1. Log in to your portal account. If you don't have an account, create one now!
2. Click on "Account & Settings."
3. On the left side of the screen, click on "Login."
4. On the right side of the screen, enter your user name and password (or create a new account if you don't have them).
5. Click on "Log In" to log in to your account.
6. Under "Account Type," select "University."
7. Under "University Settings," click on "Login Details."
8. On the right side of the screen, under "Login Identifier," copy and paste your login ID (found in the top left-hand corner of your Welcome email).
9. Under "Password," type your password (or create a new one if you don't have it).

How to get financial aid
The first step in applying for financial aid is to create an account on the Williams College Portal. This account will allow you to track your application process, view and update your financial aid information, and receive notifications about your award decisions.
To create an account, visit the Williams College Portal and click on "Apply for Financial Aid." You will need to enter your student ID number and password. After you have created your account, you can begin the application process.
The next step in the financial aid application process is to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is a federal form that you must complete if you are seeking financial assistance from any source, including Williams College. The FAFSA can be downloaded from the FAFSA website or obtained from your high school guidance counselor.
