How to submit a claim for student academic achievement
If you have a question about your student's Academic Achievement report or if you would like to submit a claim for your student, please use the Westwood High School Parent Portal. You can login to the Parent Portal by clicking on "login" in the top right hand corner of the home page.
Once you have logged in, click on the "Academic Achievement" tab. On this tab you will find information about submitting a claim for academic achievement and how to access your student's Academic Achievement report.
How to file a school grievance
If you are a parent at Westwood High School and have a concern about the school, you can file a grievance. To file a grievance, visit their Parent Portal and click on "Grievances." From there, you will be prompted to choose the type of grievance you want to file.
There are four types of grievances that Westwood High School parents can file: academic, disciplinary, Facilities, and staffing.
Academic grievances pertain to academic issues such as grades or test scores. Disciplinary grievances pertain to behavior problems in the classroom or on campus. Facilities grievances pertain to things like broken equipment or insufficient space for students. Staffing grievances concern the number of teachers or staff members assigned to the school.
Once you have selected the grievance you want to file, you will be asked to provide some information about your issue. This information includes your name, contact information (phone number and email address), and the date and time of the incident.
