How to create a West High School Parent Portal account
If you are a West High School parent and would like to create an account to stay connected with your child’s activities at school, follow these simple steps:
Step One: Click the “Parent Portal” link on the home page of the website.
Step Two: Use your user name and password to log in.
Step Three: If you have not already done so, register for an account with West HS Parent Connection, which will give you access to more resources and updates about your child’s education.
How to login to your account
To login to your account on the West High School Parent Portal, follow these steps:
1. Click on the “Login” link in the top right corner of the home page.
2. Enter your password in the login form and click on the “Log In” button.
3. You will now be able to access all of your account information, including your student grades and transcripts, news and events, and more!
How to manage your account
To manage your account at West High School, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Parent Portal using the login information provided when you created your account.
2. Click on My Account in the left-hand panel, and then click on Edit Profile.
3. Select the appropriate school year for your child from the dropdown menu next to their name, and then enter your child’s current email address in the Email Address field.
4. Click on Save Profile.

How to view your account information
The West High School Parent Portal provides parents with easy access to their student's account information, grades, attendance records, and other important school data. Parents can login to the Portal using their West High School username and password. When logging in, parents will be directed to the My Students page. Here, they will find a list of all of their child's current classes and assignments. Click on the class name to view more detailed information about the class, such as homework assignments and due dates. In addition to accessing class information, parents can also manage their child's schedule and contact information through the Portal.
How to update your contact information
If you have changed your contact information, please follow these instructions to update your information on the West High School Parent Portal:
1. Log into the Parent Portal at www.wesths.com/parentportal.
2. Click on the "My Account" link in the top left corner of the screen.
3. On the My Account page, click on the "Contact Info" link in the top right corner of the screen.
4. On the Contact Info page, click on the "Update My Contact Info" button.
5. In the "Update My Contact Info" form, fill out your new contact information and click on the "Update My Contact Info" button.
How to unsubscribe from e-mail notifications
If you no longer wish to receive notifications from West High School, you can unsubscribe by following the instructions below. Note: If you have not logged in to your Parent Portal account for 30 days or more, your account will be closed and all e-mail notifications will be cancelled.
To unsubscribe from notifications:
1. Log in to your Parent Portal account.
2. Under "My Account," click on "Notifications."
3. In the "Notification Settings" column, select the check box next to the notification you would like to unsubscribe from.
4. Click on the "Unsubscribe" button at the bottom of the page.
How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, or if you have changed your password and cannot find it on the Portal, please follow these steps to reset your password:
1. Log in to the Portal.
2. Click on the “My Account” link in the top left corner of the screen.
3. In the “My Account” window, click on the “Password” link in the row of links across from your name.
4. Enter your current password in the “New Password” field and click on the “Change Password” button.
5. Enter a new, strong password in the “New Password” field and click on the “Confirm New Password” button.
6. Click on the “Log Out” button at the bottom of the window to log out of the Portal and return to your desktop computer.
How to report a problem with your Parent Portal account
If you have problems logging in to your Parent Portal account, follow these steps:
1. Go to http://westhighschool.org and sign in with your school username and password.
2. On the left side of the page, under "Parent Portal," click "My Account."
3. Click "Report a Problem."
4. Describe the problem in detail, and provide any additional information you think might help troubleshoot it.
5. Click "Submit Report."
