The West Fargo Parent Portal is a great resource for parents in West Fargo. It gives you access to important school information, as well as important updates and notifications about your childβs school. Follow these simple steps to login to the Parent Portal:
1. Go to westfargoparentportal.com.
2. In the top right corner of the screen, click βSign In or Register.β
3. Enter your email address and password, and click βLog In.β
4. You will be redirected to the Parent Portal home page.
How to login to the West Fargo Parent Portal

Once you have logged in, you will be able to view all of your student's information and enroll them in various programs and activities.
How to manage your child's account
Parent Portal is a new service that West Fargo Schools District is providing to parents. Parent Portal gives parents the ability to: 1) View and manage their student's grades and attendance records, 2) Register for district-wide e-mail notifications, 3) Request or change a student's schedule, 4) Request or change a student's online Identification (ID), 5) Request or add items to a child's backpack, 6) Request or remove items from a child's backpack, 7) View and print out a studentβs academic report card, 8) Request transportation information for their student.
To sign in to Parent Portal:
1. Go to www.westfargoesd.com/parentportal and click on the "sign in" button.
2. Enter your email address and password.
3. You will be prompted to create a new password if you have not done so already.
4. Once you have logged in, you will see the "Parent Portal Home Page."
5. On the "Parent Portal Home Page," click on the "My Students" tab at the top of the page.

How to report abuse or neglect
If you think that a child is being abused or neglected, you can call Child Protective Services (CPS) in your state. CPS is a government agency that helps protect children from abuse and neglect. You can call them any time, day or night, to report what you think is happening.
To make a report, you need to know the following:
-Your name and contact information
-The name of the child and their age
-What kind of abuse or neglect you are witnessing (for example, physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse)
-Where it is happening (for example, at home, at school, in a car)
-When it is happening (for example, today, yesterday, last week)
-Why you think it is happening (for example, because the child is being neglected or abused)

How to post a message on the Parent Portal
If you are a parent of a West Fargo student and have not already registered for the Parent Portal, follow these instructions to login:
Log in to your West Fargo account at www.westfargoparentportal.com. Click on My Account in the top right corner of the screen. In the "My Account" section, click on Student Info. In the "Student Info" section, under "Parents," click on Login. Enter your email address and password and click on Log In. If you have forgotten your password, enter your email address and click on Forgot Password?. Click on Posts in the top navigation bar and select Add Post. In the "Add Post" area, enter a Message for Parents and click on OK.
