Once you have logged in, you will see the main screen of the portal. On the left side of the screen, you will see a list of categories. Under "Parent Resources" you will see a link to "Login." Click on that link and follow the instructions.
How to manage your student account
To login to your Wcu Parent Portal, follow these steps:
Step One: Click the "Login" button located in the top right corner of the homepage.
Step Two: Enter your username and password.
Step Three: If you are a current student, you will be prompted to select your school from the dropdown menu. Otherwise, click "New Student."
Step Four: Select your school from the list of schools and click "Next."
Step Five: Enter your student's first and last name in the appropriate fields and click "Next."
Step Six: In the "Student ID" field, type in your student's ID number. (You can find this number on their Wcu ID card or on their MyWcu account.)
Step Seven: Select whether you want to receive email updates about your student's activities or not and click "Next."

How to add or change your contact information
If you have forgotten your password, or if you would like to change your contact information, please follow these steps:
1. Log into the Parent Portal at www.wcu.edu/parentportal.
2. Click on the “Log In” button in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Enter your username and password and click on the “Log In” button to log in.
4. If you have not already done so, select either your “My Personal Profile” or “My Student Profile” from the drop-down menus at the top of the screen.
5. Underneath each profile, click on the “Contact Info” tab to edit your contact information. You can update your name, e-mail address, phone number, and website address.
How to report a lost or stolen student ID
If you have lost or your student ID has been stolen, you can use the Wcu Parent Portal to report the issue. To login to the Parent Portal, go to https://portal.wcu.edu and enter your user name and password. Then click on My Students, and then on Student IDs. On the right side of the screen, under Lost/Stolen Student IDs, click on Report a Lost or Stolen ID. In the fields that appear, provide as much information as possible about the ID (e.g. name, date of birth) and explain how it was lost or stolen. Be sure to include a copy of your ID if possible. If you have already contacted Wcu police or campus security about the ID, please leave those details out of this report. Once you have completed the form, click Submit.
