Warren Township is a small municipality in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. The township had a population of 8,965 as of the 2010 United States Census. Warren Township was formed on March 11, 1892, from portions of Lawrence Township and West Windsor Township.
Warren Township is governed under the Township form of government with a three-member Board of Trustees, elected directly by the voters at-large in partisan elections to serve three-year terms of office on an alternating basis. The Board appoints a Mayor who serves as the chief executive and administrative head of the township.
