How to login to the Walsall Planning Portal
To login to the Walsall Planning Portal, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your account on the Walsall Planning Portal website. If you don’t have an account, you can create one by clicking on the ‘sign up now’ link at the top of the page.
2. Enter your user name and password in the boxes provided.
3. Once you have logged in, you will be presented with a list of options on the left-hand side of the screen. Select ‘My Plans’ from this menu.
4. On the My Plans page, you will see a list of all of your plans that are currently active on the Portal. The plans will be listed in order of creation, with the most recently created plan at the top of the list. You can filter your plans by selecting a category from the drop-down menu on the right-hand side of the screen or by using the search bar at the top of the page. You can also save a plan by selecting it and clicking on the ‘save plan’ button located on the right-hand side of the screen.
How to search for planning documents
To search for planning documents on the Walsall Planning Portal, you will need to login first. To do this, click the Login link in the top right-hand corner of the page. Enter your email address and password and click OK. Once you have logged in, you will be able to search for planning documents by keyword or by topic.
How to add a new document or amend an existing document
If you wish to add a new document to the Walsall Planning Portal, follow these steps:
1) Click on ‘New Document’ at the top of the page.
2) Enter a title for your document and click on ‘Create’.
3) On the ‘Document Type’ tab, select ‘Planning Document’ and then click on ‘Next’.
4) On the ‘Content’ tab, enter the relevant information and click on ‘Next’.
5) On the ‘Advanced Tab’, check the boxes that you require and click on ‘Finish’.
If you wish to amend an existing document, follow these steps:
1) Click on ‘Edit Document’ at the top of the page.
2) Select your document from the list and click on ‘Open’.
3) On the ‘Document Type’ tab, select your document type and then click on ‘Next’.
4) On the ‘Content’ tab, make any amendments that you require and click
How to save and share your plans
If you have created plans in the Walsall Planning Portal, you can save them for later use. To save a plan:
1. In the Planning Portal, click on the Plans tab.
2. On the Plans tab, click on the plan you want to save.
3. In the Save As box, type a name for the plan.
4. Click on Save.
