How to dispute a bill
If you feel that you have been overcharged on your bill, or think that there was an error on the bill, you can dispute it. To do this, go to the Vcu Portal, and log in. Under "My Accounts & Services," click on "Billing Disputes." On the next screen, you will be asked to provide information about your bill, including the date and time of your purchase, as well as your contact information. If you have a copy of your bill, you can also upload it. After providing this information, click on "Start Dispute." You will then be redirected to a web page where you can complete additional steps if necessary. If you have not received a bill yet, or if you do not have a copy of your bill, you can contact Vcu customer service at (540) 828-5000 to begin the dispute process.
