In order to access many of the resources and services offered by Vassar College, you will need to log in. This guide will show you how to do just that.
How to login to Vassar College Portal
To login to the Vassar College Portal, please follow these instructions:
1. Launch the Vassar College Portal.
2. Click on “Login” in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Enter your user name and password.
4. Click on “Log In” to log in to the Vassar College Portal.
How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, or if you would like to change your password, please follow these steps:
1. Log into the Vassar College Portal.
2. Click on "Your Account" in the top left corner of the screen.
3. Under "My Account," click on "Forgot Password?"
4. Enter your email address and click "Create Password."
5. Click on the link in the email that was sent to you to create your new password.
6. Enter your new password in the "New Password" field and click "OK."
How to report a security issue
If you have discovered a security issue on the Vassar College website, please follow these steps to report it.
1. Log in to your Vassar College account and go to \https://portal.vassar.edu/report-an-issue/.
2. In the "Report an Issue" form, provide as much information as possible about the issue, including:
- A description of the problem
- The URL where you found the problem
- The date and time of the incident
3. If possible, include screenshots or video of the problem.
How to dispute a charge on your student account
If you feel that you have been charged for something that was not authorized by Vassar College, you may dispute the charge. To begin the process of disputing a charge, please follow these instructions:
Log in to your student account on the Vassar College Portal. Under "My Account," click on "Disputes." On the Disputes page, under "What type of dispute do you want to make?" select "Charge." In the "Charge details" field, provide as much information as possible about why you believe the charge is wrong. For example, if you believe that you were not given proper notice of an online course fee increase, include that information in the "Reason for dispute" field. After providing this information, click on "Submit dispute." Vassar College will review your dispute and either create a new account or credit your account with the amount of money that you believe was wrongfully charged.

If you have questions about your account or need assistance logging in, please visit the Vassar College website or contact the Office of Student Accounts and Records.
To access your student account, go to the Vassar College portal and click on “My Account.” From there, you can access your grades, tuition and fees information, as well as your transcript(s). You can also update your contact information and make changes to your profile.
