How to login to the Uw Patient Portal
If you are a patient, you can use this article to learn how to login to the Uw Patient Portal. Once you have logged in, you will be able to access your health records, view appointment information, and more.
How to search for health information
If you have a Uw Patient Portal account, you can search for health information by clicking the "Health" tab on the main menu and then clicking the "Find Health Information" link. This will open a search window that lets you type in keywords or phrases to find information about health conditions, treatments, and more. You can also use the "Filter by Category" and "Filter by Provider" buttons to narrow your search.

How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, or if you want to change it, follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Log In" link in the upper right corner of the home page.
2. Enter your email address and password into the form fields and click on the "Submit" button.
3. A new window will open with your login information displayed. If you have multiple accounts, you will be asked which account to log in with.
4. To change your password, enter your current password in the "New Password" field and type a new password in the "Old Password" field. Click on the "Update Password" button to save your changes.
How to update your contact information
If you have not done so already, you can update your contact information by logging into your Patient Portal and clicking on "My Account" in the upper right corner. To update your contact information, click on the "Edit Profile" button at the top of the page. You will be prompted to enter your name and email address. After you have updated your contact information, please make sure to save your profile by clicking on the "Save Profile" button. How to unsubscribe from health alerts
If you no longer wish to receive health alerts, you can unsubscribe by following these steps:
1. Log in to your patient portal.
2. Under 'My Profile', click on the 'Health Alerts' icon.
3. On the 'Health Alerts' page, under 'Unsubscribe from health alerts', click on the button to unsubscribe.
How to dispute a billing statement
If you feel that your insurance company has charged you for services that you did not receive, or if you feel that you were overcharged on your last billing statement, it is important to dispute the charge. Dispute statements can be done online or by calling customer service. Here are the steps to dispute a billing statement:
1) Log in to your patient portal and click on "Billing & Insurance" in the top left corner.
2) Click on the "Dispute a Billing Statement" link in the main menu.
3) Complete the required information and click on "Submit Dispute."
4) Your insurance company will then review your dispute and either authorize or deny the charge.
How to view your hospital data
If you are a hospital patient, you can access your medical records and hospital information using the Patient Portal. The Patient Portal is a secure website that provides patients with access to their health information, including doctor appointments, prescription refills, lab results, and more. To login to the Patient Portal, follow these steps:
1. Go to http://www.patientportal.com/.
2. Enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields on the homepage of the Patient Portal.
3. Click the Log In link at the top of the page.
4. Enter your first name, last name, and hospital identification number in the appropriate fields on the My Health Record page.
5. Click the Upload Image button to upload a picture of your hospital ID card or driver's license as proof of identity. (You can also type in your name and hospital ID number if you don't have an image available.)
6. Click Save My Records to finish logging in.
