The UIC Portal is a web-based application that provides access to library resources and services. In this article, we will show you how to login to the UIC Portal.
How to login to UIC Portal
If you are a current UIC student, faculty, or staff member and have a UIC ID number and password, you can login to the UIC Portal using these steps:
1. Log in to your UIC CampusNet account by clicking on the "CampusNet Login" icon in the top right-hand corner of any CampusNet page. If you do not have a CampusNet account, click on the "Create an Account" button and enter your desired user name and password.
2. Once you have logged in to CampusNet, click on the "UIC Portal" icon in the top left-hand corner of the page. You will be prompted to enter your UIC ID number and password.
3. After you have entered your credentials, you will be able to view all of your current UIC Portal account information (including your course schedule, grades, and ePrints).
How to use MyUIC
If you have forgotten your MyUIC username and password, or if you need to reset them, follow these steps:
1. Click the “Login” link on the main navigation bar.
2. Enter your MyUIC username and password in the appropriate fields.
3. Click the “Submit” button to log in to MyUIC.

How to update your contact information
If you have changed your contact information, please follow these steps to update your UIC Portal account.:
1. Log in to your UIC Portal account.
2. On the left menu, click Account Settings.
3. On the Account Settings page, under Personal Information, click Change Contact Information.
4. Complete the fields on the Change Contact Information page and click Save Changes.
How to unsubscribe from notifications
If you no longer wish to be notified of new posts or updates from UIC Portal, you can unsubscribe by following the instructions below.
1. From the blog home page, click on the "Notifications" link in the top right corner.
2. On the "Notifications" page, click on the "Unsubscribe" link located in the bottom right corner of each notification.
How to block or report a student
Blocking a student is an extreme measure and should only be used as a last resort. If you need to block a student, please follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the “Student Portal” page.
2. Click on “Block Student” in the main menu.
3. Enter the student’s name and click on “Block”.
4. A confirmation message will appear telling you that the student has been blocked.
5. The student will no longer be able to access their account or any of their content on the Uic Portal.
