Ubuntu Portal is a web application that can be used to manage your Ubuntu system. In this article, we will show you how to login to Ubuntu Portal.
Login Screen
If you are a new Ubuntu user, or have not logged in for awhile, you will need to login before continuing. To log in, click on the ubuntu logo at the top of the screen and choose Login.
If you are already logged in, you can continue reading this article.
To login, enter your username (the name you use to sign in to ubuntu) and password. If you have forgotten your password, click on the Forgot your Password link on the login screen and enter your username and email address to receive a temporary password. You will then be able to use that password to login. If you have not registered for an account yet, you can do so by clicking on the Sign In link below the login screen.
Please note that if you have disabled anonymous access for your account, you will need to re-enter your username and password when logging in for the first time after upgrading to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS or later. To sign in to Ubuntu Portal, you will need to enter your username and password. To find your username, open the Dash and type "username." Your username will appear in the list of results. To find your password, open the Dash and type "password." Your password will appear in the list of results.
Account Details
If you are looking to login to Ubuntu Portal, first you will need your account details. To retrieve your account details, click on the Login link on the top right of the page. Once you have logged in, you will see a list of all of your accounts on Ubuntu Portal.
To log out of Ubuntu Portal, click the Logout link on the top right of the page.
Profile
Ubuntu Portal is the new way to login to Ubuntu. It's faster, easier and more secure than the old Ubuntu login. To get started, follow these steps:
1) Launch Ubuntu Portal by clicking on the icon in your launcher or by entering http://localhost:8080 in your browser.
2) Enter your username and password in the login form.
3) If you have an account with Ubuntu One, you can log in with your credentials. Otherwise, click on the sign up link to create a new account.
4) Once you've logged in, you'll see a list of all the content available on the portal. You can explore it by clicking on any of the categories listed on the left-hand side of the screen.
5) If you want to share something you've found on the portal with others, click on the share button at the top of any page. This will open a sharing bar at the bottom of the page which lets you choose who to share with (including your friends on social media), and how long they have access to it (for example, for a blog post, for a day or for forever).

To log in to your Ubuntu Portal account, you will need your username and password. To find these, log in to the portal and click on your username in the top right corner of the screen. This will open the Settings page for your account. On this page, you will see your username and password listed under “Personal Details”. You can also find these details if you click on the “Login” link next to your avatar on any portal page.
System Settings
If you are having trouble logging in to Ubuntu, you may need to set up your system settings. If you have a user account, try this first:
1. Open System Settings by clicking the System icon on the Ubuntu desktop, or typing "systemsettings" in the terminal.
2. In System Settings, click Accounts.
3. In Accounts, click the name of your user account under name.
4. Under Login Options, select Remember my login credentials so I don't have to enter them every time I start Ubuntu. This will save your user account's login information in your computer's memory so you don't have to enter it every time you start Ubuntu. If you do not want this feature enabled, uncheck the box next to Remember my login credentials and enter your login information each time you start Ubuntu. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the window.
