How to login to the Tax Office Portal
If you need to login to the Tax Office Portal you can do so by following these steps:
1. Navigate to the Tax Office Portal home page at www.irs.gov/tax-office-portal.
2. Click on the Login link in the upper right corner of the screen.
3. Enter your username and password and click Log In.
4. Once you have logged in, you will be taken to the Home Page where you can find all of the information and tools that are available on the Portal.
How to find your user name and password
If you have forgotten your user name and password, you can find them on the Tax Office Portal login screen. To login to the Tax Office Portal, follow these steps:

1. Click on the Login link in the main menu of the portal. The Login screen will appear.
2. Enter your user name and password into the appropriate fields and click on the Login button.

How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, or if you have changed your password and cannot remember how to reset it, you can change your password online. Here are instructions on how to login to the Tax Office portal and change your password:
First, sign in to the Tax Office portal at: http://portal.irs.gov/. You will need your User ID and Password from when you registered for e-services. If you don't remember those details, you can find them on the My Account page of the Tax Office portal.
Once you are logged in, click on the “Password” link in the main menu bar. This will take you to the Password Change page. On this page, enter your User ID and New Password (both of which were supplied when you registered for online services). You can also choose to save this password as a "Remember Me" option. Click on the “Change Password” button to update your password information and complete the process.
How to cancel your subscription
If you have created an account and are not happy with the service, or if you need to cancel your subscription, there are a few ways to do this.
The easiest way to cancel is through your account settings on the Tax Office Portal website.
To find your account settings, go to: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/tax-office and sign in with your credentials (your login name and password). Then click on ‘Accounts’ in the top left hand corner of the screen.
