If you are an Tafe Queensland student and have not already registered for the Student Portal, now is the time to do so. The Student Portal provides students with all the information they need to access their Tafe account, including course enrolment, grades, and transcripts.
To register for the Student Portal, all you need is your student number and password. To find out your student number, visit tafe.qld.gov.au and log in to My Account. Your student number is also printed on your Tafe ID card.
Once you have your student number and password, follow these steps to login to the Student Portal:
1. Go to https://portal.tafe.qld.gov.au/login/.
2. Enter your student number and password into the appropriate fields on the login page.
3. Click ‘Log In’ to enter your account!
How to login to the Tafe Qld Student Portal
If you haven't already, you'll need to create an account on the Tafe Queensland Student Portal. Once you've logged in, click on "My Account" in the top right-hand corner of the screen. You'll then need to click on "Login" in the top left-hand corner of the My Account page. Enter your student number and password in the appropriate fields and click on "Log In". You'll now be taken to the Login Screen. Click on the "Home" tab at the top of the screen to take you to your home page. The Login Screen will refresh automatically; if it doesn't, please click on "Login" again. You should now see a list of all of your courses and programs that you're registered in on the Tafe Queensland Student Portal. If you don't see your course or program listed, please contact their Support Team at [email protected] for assistance.
How to find your Tafe Qld Student ID
To find your Tafe Qld Student ID, head to the Tafe Qld Student Portal and click on 'Login'.
You will be prompted to enter your name and email address. Once you have logged in, you will be taken to your 'Profile' page. On this page, you will find your Student ID in the 'Personal Info' section.
How to manage your account
To manage your account, please follow these simple steps:
1. Log in using your NetID and password. If you have not created a NetID or password, please visit https://www.tafe.qld.gov.au/.
2. Click on MyTafe to view your current account information. This includes your name, course enrolment details, contact details and any outstanding invoices or fines. You can also view your current unit of study and marks in courses.
3. If you need to update any information, please click on the ‘Edit’ link next to your name or enrolment details. Please note that this will update all of your records with Tafe Queensland, including any outstanding invoices or fines.
4. To manage your studying timetable, click on the ‘Study’ tab and select the semester for which you wish to view information. You can also add/remove courses and view your current unit of study and marks in courses here.

How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, click here to reset it. If you would like to change your password, please follow these instructions:
1. Log in to the Tafe Queensland Student Portal.
2. Click on Your Account in the top left corner of the page.
3. Under Password and Login Details, click Change Password.
4. Enter your current password in the New Password field and click Change Password.
5. Confirm your new password in the Confirm New Password field and click Save Changes.
How to block someone from contacting you
If you want to block someone from contacting you on the Tafe Qld Student Portal, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the portal.
2. Click on your name in the top left corner of the screen.
3. Under "My Profile," click on "Block Contacts."
4. Enter the email address or contact name of the person you want to block in the "Block Contact" box and click on "Save Changes."
5. The person will no longer be able to contact you through the portal.
How to view your account history
If you have forgotten your password, or if you need to change it, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Tafe Qld Student Portal login page and enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields.
2. Click the "Forgotten your password?" link to reset your password. If you have not used this email address before on the Tafe Qld Student Portal, you will be asked to create a new account first.
