How to login to the Student Portal

2. On the main page of the Student Portal, click My Account in the upper-left corner.
3. In the My Account page, click Log In in the top right corner.
4. Enter your UMICH ID and password in the appropriate fields on the screen, and click Log In. You will be redirected to the My Account page again.
How to add a new student
Adding a new student is easy! Just follow these steps:
1. Log in to the portal.
2. Click on "Add a new student."
3. Fill out the required information and click "Create Account."
4. You're now ready to start using the portal!
How to update your contact information
If you would like to update your contact information, please follow these steps:
1. Log in to your portal.
2. Click on the "Personal" tab at the top of the page.
3. On the "Personal" tab, click on the "Contacts" link.
4. Enter your updated information into the fields and click on the "Update Contact Info" button.
5. You will now be brought back to the "Personal" tab. Congratulations! Your contact information has been updated.
How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, please follow these instructions to change it:
1. Log in to your account on the home page of the portal.
2. Click on "My Account" on the left side of the screen.
3. On the "My Account" page, click on "Change Password."
4. Enter your current password in the "New Password" field and click on "Change Password."
5. Confirm your new password by entering it again in the "New Password" field and clicking on "Change Password."
6. Click on "Log out" to close the login window.

How to blocked someone from messaging you
If you want to block someone from messaging you on the Student Portal, follow these instructions:
1. Log into your Student Portal account.
2. Click on the "Message" tab at the top of the screen.
3. To block someone from messaging you, click on the "Block" button next to their name.
