As a student, one of the most essential functions of your portal is logging in. In this article, we will show you how to login to your student portal using your school login credentials.
How to login to the Student Portal
There are a few ways to login to the Student Portal. The easiest way is to go to your MySHAMOKIN account and click on the Login link. If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the Forgot Your Password link and enter your email address in the form that appears. If you have forgotten your user name, you can go to MySHAMOKIN and click on the Edit Profile link. On this page, you will see a Username field and a Password field. Enter your student ID number in the Username field and your birth date in the Password field. You will then be asked to confirm your password. Click on the Sign In button to log in to the Student Portal.

How to add/update your student information
Adding or updating your student information is easy on the Shimokin Student Portal. Log in using your NetID and password, and follow these steps:
1. Click on the My Account link in the top left corner of the home page.
2. On the My Account page, click on the Add/Update icon ( ).
3. Enter your NetID and password and click on the Login button.
Now you are logged in to your account!
4. On the My Account page, click on the My Academics tab to view your current academic information.

How to view your grades
If you are a Shamokin student and have an email address on file, you can view your grades by logging in to your Student Portal. If you do not have an email address on file, you can request a new one by contacting the Student Success Center.
How to change your password
If you've forgotten your password, or if it's been inactive for a while and you want to change it, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the portal using your username and password. If you don't have an account yet, create one now.
2. Click on "My Account" in the top left corner of the screen. This will open a new window with all your account information.
3. In the "My Account" window, click on "Change Password." You will be prompted to enter your current password and a new password (both must be at least 8 characters long). Make sure you remember both passwords!
4. After you've entered both passwords, click on "Submit." Your password has been changed!
