How to login to student portal mail
If you are not currently logged in to the Student Portal, please follow these steps to login:
1. Click on "Login" located on the top toolbar of the portal.
2. Enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields and click on "Log In".
3. If you are having difficulties logging in, please contact the Student Portal Support Team at [email protected] or (860) 486-4400.
How to find your student portal mail account information
If you are a student at one of the campuses in the IU system, then your student portal mail account is likely one of the following:
IU Bloomington
IU East Chicago
IU Kokomo
IU North Central
IU South Bend
IU Southeast.
To find your student portal mail account information, follow these steps:
1. Go to the MyIU Portal website and log in. (If you have not previously registered for MyIU Portal, you will need to do so before following these steps.)
2. Click on My Account on the left sidebar and then click on My Mail on the right sidebar.
3. On the MyMail page, under Student Portal Mail, click on Email Address and enter your IU email address. (Note: Your IU email address is different than your username.)
4. Under Password, enter your password and click on Change Password.
5. Click on Sign In and then under Login Method, select your preferred method of logging in (i.e., User Name and Password or Email and Password).
6. Under Incoming Mail, click on Your Email Address to open your student portal mail inbox
How to send and receive email using your student portal mail account
1. Log in to your student portal mail account.
2. Click on the email link in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Enter your student portal login and password, and click on the send button.
4. Click on the receive button to open an email with a login link for your online course.
