How to Login to Student College Portal
To login to the Student College Portal, follow these steps:
1. Visit the website at studentcollegeportal.com.
2. Click on the Login link in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Enter your username and password and click on Log In.
4. The Student College Portal home page will appear.
5. Click on My Profile in the top left corner of the screen to view your account information and activity logs.
How to Add or Edit your Profile
If you are a new student, you will need to create a profile. To add or edit your profile, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to http://studentcollegeportal.umich.edu/.
Step 2: Click on the "My Profile" tab.
Step 3: In the "Profile Information" section, enter your name, email address, and password. If you have already created an account at studentcollegeportal.umich.edu, you can enter your username and password in the "User Name" and "Password" fields, respectively. If you do not have an account yet, click on the "Create Account" button and follow the instructions.
Step 4: In the "Activities & Courses" section, enter the courses you are taking and the grades you have received for those courses. You can also add any extracurricular activities or interests you have. If you are a new student, we will ask you to provide information about your parents or guardians in the "Parent/Guardian Information" section.
Step 5: In the "Personal Statement" section, write about yourself or answer questions about yourself that we may ask in a questionnaire
How to Request a Transcript
If you have forgotten your college login information or need to request a transcript, follow these steps:
Step 1: Log into the portal from your college website.
Step 2: On the left-hand side of the screen, click "Account & Student Services."
Step 3: On the next page, click "Request a Transcript."
Step 4: Fill out the form and click "Submit." Your transcript will be sent to the address you provided.
How to Activate your Email Address
If you have not already done so, you will need to activate your email address in order to be able to login to your Student College Portal. To do this, please follow the steps below:
1. Log in to your Student College Portal using your username and password.
2. Click on the “My Account” tab located at the top of the page.
3. Under “My Account Summary,” click on the “Your Email Address” link.
4. Enter your valid email address in the text box and click on the “Activate” button.
5. You will now receive an email notification confirming that your email address has been activated. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive this notification within a few minutes.
How to Change your Password
If you have forgotten your Student College Portal password, follow these steps to change it:
1. Log in to your Student College Portal account.
2. Click on the “My Account” link in the top right corner of the screen.
3. On the My Account page, click on the “Password & Security” link in the left sidebar.
4. On the Password & Security page, enter your current password in the “Password” field and click on the “Change Password” button.
5. Type a new password in the “New Password” field and click on the “Change Password” button again.
6. Click on the “Close” button to return to the My Account page.
How to Report a Violation
If you have a concern about a student’s behavior on campus, there are several ways to report it.
The quickest way to report a concern is through the Student College Portal. After logging in, click on the “Report Concerns” link in the main menu.
Once you are on the report form, you will need to provide as much information as possible about what happened and who was involved. You can also attach photos or videos if they help illustrate your case.
If you feel that the situation has been resolved and you no longer wish to pursue the complaint, you can easily dismiss it by clicking on the “Resolve Concern” button. If the concern is more serious, however, you may need to contact a campus official for further action.
