How to login to South Student Portal
If you are a current student at South Texas College, you can access your South Student Portal here. To login, please follow these instructions:
1. Click on the "Login" link on the top of the homepage.
2. Enter your username and password in the appropriate fields and click on the "Login" button.
3. You will be redirected to the main page of your Student Portal. From here, you can access all of your account information, including your course schedule, grades, and notifications.
How to change your password
If you forgot your password, or if it has expired, follow these steps to change it:
First, sign in to the South Student Portal.
Next, click on the "My Account" tab.
On the "My Account" page, click on the "Change Password" link.
Enter your current password and new password in the appropriate fields and click on the "Update Password" button.
You are now logged in to the South Student Portal with your new password!
How to report a problem
To report a problem on the South Student Portal, visit their Help Desk and follow these instructions:
1. Click the “Help” link located in the top right corner of any page on the portal.
2. Select “Report a Problem” from the drop-down menu.
3. Enter your information and click “Submit.” They will then review your request and take appropriate action.
How to find your student profile
To find your student profile on the South Student Portal, go to: www.southstudentportal.com and sign in with your South username and password. Once you are logged in, click on the “My Account” link on the top left corner of the screen. On the My Account page, you will see your name and ID number at the top of the page. Click on this information to open your student profile. You can find all of your important information here, including your grades, enrollment status, and course roster.
How to add or change your course information
To add or change your course information on the South Student Portal, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the South Student Portal.
2. Click on My Courses.
3. In the My Courses table, click on the course you want to update.
4. In the Course Details table, click on Add/Update Courses.
5. Complete the Add/Update Courses form and click Submit.
