How to enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication (FA) is a security feature that uses two pieces of information to login to your account. This means that if someone tries to login to your account without having both the login password and a second piece of information, they will be prevented from doing so.
To enable FA on your Smpw account, you first need to sign in. After you have logged in, click the account icon in the top right corner of the screen. Then, under "Security Settings", click "Two-factor Authentication".
On the next page, you will need to enter your login password and one of the following two methods of authentication. If you want to use a mobile app with two-factor authentication, you will also need to enter your mobile phone number.
Once you have entered all the required information, click "Enable Two-factor Authentication". You will then be prompted to verify your identity by entering the second piece of information— typically a code sent to your mobile phone. After you have entered this information, click "Enable Two-factor Authentication" again.
