If you are having trouble logging in to your SDSU Portal, follow these simple steps:
How to login to SDSU Portal
If you are a current SDSU student, faculty, or staff member and have your NetID and password, you can log in to the SDSU Portal. If you do not have your NetID and password, you can create an account by clicking on the Create an Account link on the main menu of the Portal.
How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, or need to change it, follow these steps:
Log in to your account at www.sdsu.edu/portal Click the "My Account" link in the top navigation bar Click the "Password" link under "Account Details" Enter your current password and click the "Change Password" button If you do not remember your current password, enter your e-mail address in the "Forgot Your Password?" field and we will send you a new one
How to view your account information
If you registered for an account at the SDSU Portal, your username is your email address and password is the same as your SDSU username. If you have not registered for an account, click on Login below to create one.
If you forgot your password, click on Forgot Your Password? below and enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields.
If you have forgotten your username, click on Login below and enter your SDSU username in the Username field. If you have forgotten your email address, click on Forgotten Your Email Address? below and enter your email address in the Email Address field.
Once you have logged in, you will see a list of all of your accounts under Account Info. You can also view this information by clicking on My Accounts under the Menu Bar at the top of the page.
How to report a problem with SDSU Portal
If you experience trouble logging in to SDSU Portal, please try the following:
- Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet and has the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed.
- If you are using a desktop computer, make sure that the SDSU Portal icon is pinned to your Windows taskbar. If it is not, click on it and then right-click on it and select "Pin to taskbar".
- If you are using a mobile device, make sure that you have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed.
- Try entering your SDSU Portal user name and password in the login dialog box that appears when you open SDSU Portal from your computer's desktop or start menu. If you still cannot log in, please contact the Help Desk at extension 79532.
How to unsubscribe from SDSU e-mail messages
You can unsubscribe from SDSU e-mail messages by following these steps:
1. Click on the " unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any SDSU e-mail message you receive. If you do not see a " unsubscribe" link, your mail program may not have been configured to send unsubscribes.
2. Follow the instructions provided in the e-mail message to unsubscribe from all SDSU e-mail addresses.
How to stop receiving SDSU marketing messages
If you no longer wish to receive SDSU marketing messages, you can unsubscribe by following these simple steps:
1. Log in to your SDSU portal account.
2. Click on the My Account link in the top left corner of the page.
3. Under "Personalized Marketing Messages," click on the unsubscribe link next to the email address associated with your account.
How to change your communication preferences
