How to Login to the Sandwell Planning Portal
If you are new to the Sandwell Planning Portal, first follow these simple steps to create an account:
Log in to the Sandwell Planning Portal at https://planningportal.sandwell.gov.uk/. Click on the ‘Create Account’ button in the top left-hand corner of the screen. Enter your personal details and click on the ‘Submit’ button. You will now be taken to a login page where you will need to enter your username and password. If you have previously registered with the Planning Portal, log in using your registered username and password. After logging in, you will see the main menu bar at the top of the screen. In order to access specific areas of the Portal, such as Neighbourhood Plans or Planning Applications, you will need to select an area from the menu bar and then click on the relevant link.
Creating a New Account
If you don't have an account yet, now is the time to create one! Here's a quick guide on how to set up your new Sandwell Planning Portal account:
1. Login to the Planning Portal by clicking on "Login" in the top right hand corner of the screen.
2. Enter your email address and password in the login form and click "Log In".
3. If you have not already done so, select "Create New Account" from the drop down menu at the top right of the screen and enter your first and last name in the required fields. Click "Create Account".
4. You will now be taken to your new account page where you can log in again using your email address and password. Congratulations, you've now created your first Planning Portal account!
Managing Your Profile
If you have not already done so, please create an account on the Sandwell Planning Portal. Once you have logged in, please follow these steps to manage your profile:
1. Click on the "My Profile" link at the top of the homepage.
2. On the My Profile page, click on the "Edit Profile" link located in the top right-hand corner.
3. On the Edit Profile page, you will need to provide your full name (as it appears on your council tax records) and email address. You can also choose to provide a website or blog URL if you have one. Please note that if you do not have a website or blog, you will need to provide contact details for someone who can provide this information for you. Finally, you will need to agree to the terms and conditions of use before continuing.
4. Once you have completed these steps, please click on the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page. Your profile will now be updated and ready to use on the portal.
Viewing your Home Properties
If you're not already logged into the Sandwell Planning Portal, please login now. Once you are logged in, you can view all of your home properties by going to:

1. Click on the "Home Properties" tab on the left hand side of the screen.
2. Select the property for which you want to view information.
3. On the right-hand side of the screen, you will see a list of all of your home's data fields (property description, Assessment ID, etc.). Simply click on any of these fields to view more detailed information about that property.
