How to login to Red Instructor Portal
If you are a student, faculty member, or staff member at the University of Washington, you can login to the Red Instructor Portal.
To log in, click on the "Login" link in the upper left corner of the portal home page. You will then be taken to a login screen. Enter your UWA user name and password, and click on the "Log In" button.
If you are not a UW student, faculty member, or staff member, and you need to access the Red Instructor Portal for research purposes, please follow these instructions:
1. Log in to your UWA e-mail account.
2. Click on the "Login" link in the upper left corner of the portal home page. You will be taken to a login screen. Enter your e-mail address and password, and click on the "Log In" button.
3. If you are not already logged in to UWA e-mail, you will be prompted to log in now.

Setting up an account
Setting up an account is easy and only takes a few minutes. Once you have created an account, you will be able to login to the Red Instructor Portal and begin using all the features it has to offer.
Signing in
If you are a new user and have never logged in before, please follow these instructions:
1. Click the "Log In" link on the top right of the homepage.
2. Enter your username and password and click "Log In." If you have forgotten your username or password, click "Forgot Password?" to reset them.

Course details

Creating a course
To create a course on the Red Instructor Portal, follow these steps:
1. In the navigation bar on the left side of the portal, click Courses.
2. On the Courses page, select New Course.
3. Enter a title for your course, and choose a course type from the list (e.g., Whiteboard or Hands-on Workshop).
4. In the Description field, provide a brief description of your course.
5. In the Learning Objectives field, specify what students should learn by completing your course. You can also specify how many learning objectives students should complete (up to 10).

3. Select the "New Course" button on the left side of the screen.

6. Once your course has been approved, you will be able to access it on their website by clicking on the "My Courses" link in the header bar of the home page and selecting it from the list of courses displayed on the screen.
Accessing your personal learning data
If you have logged in to the Red Instructor Portal, you can access your personal learning data by clicking on the "My Profile" link at the top of the home page. This will take you to a page where you can see all of your courses, certificates and ratings.
