How to login to the Purbeck Planning Portal
The Purbeck Planning Portal is a digital platform that provides access to planning information for the Purbeck District Council and its constituent villages. To login, please follow these steps:
- Open the Purbeck Planning Portal at www.purbeckplanningportal.org.uk
- Click on the Login link in the top right corner of the screen
- Enter your username and password (you will be asked to create a new password if you haven't done so already)
- Click Log In
- You will now be taken to the home page of the portal, where you can explore their planning services and find information about your parish or village.

If you are not registered with the Purbeck Planning Portal, you can sign up here. Once registered, you will be able to login to the Portal using your username and password.
Planning Tools
If you're new to Purbeck Planning Portal, or just need a refresher on how to login, we've put together a quick guide. Here are the steps:
1. Log in using your username and password. If you don't have a username or password, please sign up for an account.
2. Click on the "My Pages" tab at the top of the page. This is where you'll create, manage, and share your planning projects.
3. Click on "Projects" in the left-hand column and then click on the "New Project" button in the middle of the screen. Enter a project name and select a planning level (local plan, regional plan, or state plan).
4. Select which stakeholders will have access to your project (e.g., homeowners, businesses, government agencies) and click on the "Create Project"} button. You'll now be able to add resources and tasks to your project!
The Dashboard
The Purbeck Planning Portal can be accessed by logging in using your email address and password. If you have not created an account, you can do so by clicking on the 'create an account' link on the main page. Once you have logged in, you will be able to access all of the resources available on the portal.
Reports
If you're looking to log in to the Purbeck Planning Portal, you can do so by following these steps:
1. Enter your user name and password in the login forms on the homepage.
2. Click on the "My Account" button to view your account information.
3. Use the links in the "My Account" section to access your account's dashboard, reports, and files.
My Account
To login to the Purbeck Planning Portal, please enter your user name and password in the following fields:

Your user name is the same as your email address.

Your password is the same as your user name.
The Community Tab
If you have not registered with the Purbeck Planning Portal, please do so before proceeding. Once you have registered, click on the "Community" tab at the top of the page and enter your user name and password. The Community Tab offers a wealth of information and resources for residents of Purbeck including planning applications, news items, events and neighbourhood profiles. Here are just a few examples:
- Planning Applications: This area includes all of the latest planning applications that have been submitted to Purbeck District Council. You can view application details and feedback from residents, as well as comment on any of the applications.
- News Items: This area includes all of the latest news items from Purbeck District Council relating to planning or community issues.
- Events: This area includes upcoming events that are happening in Purbeck or around south Dorset.
- Neighbourhood Profiles: This is an excellent resource for residents who want to know more about their neighbours and what they can expect from
Adding a New Tab or Page
If you want to add a new tab or page to your Purbeck Planning Portal account, follow these steps:
1. Click on the "My Portal" tab at the top of the screen.
2. Click on the "Tabs" button in the left-hand column.
3. Click on the "+ New Tab" icon in the bottom row.
4. Enter a name for your tab or page in the "Tab Name" field, and click on the "Create Tab" button.
5. Click on the newly created tab or page to view its contents.
Editing a Tab or Page
Purbeck Planning Portal is an online planning tool that allows users to create and manage their projects. The first step in editing a tab or page is to login. To login, click the Login link in the upper-right corner of the editor screen. You will be prompted for your user name and password. Once you have logged in, click the blue Edit link next to the tab or page you want to edit.
Once you are on the editor screen for that tab or page, you can make changes to the content by clicking on the text box below the main content area and entering your new text. You can also use the toolbar at the top of the screen to change formatting, add images, and more. The final step is to save your changes by clicking on the Save button in the toolbar. Your changes will be automatically uploaded to Purbeck Planning Portal and will be available for everyone to see.
