Portal staff members need to login to access their account and perform their duties. This article offers tips on how to login to your Portal account.
How to login to your Portal Staff account
If you are a Portal Staff member and have forgotten your login information, please follow these instructions to get back into your account:
1. Click the "My Account" link on the home page of the Portal.
2. Enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields.
3. Click the "Log In" button.
4. If you are not automatically redirected to the login page after clicking the "Log In" button, click the link in the email that was sent to you when you registered for Portal Staff.
How to change your password
Portal Staff members can change their passwords by following these simple steps.
Log in to your account at portal.stanford.edu and click on "My Portal" in the top left corner. Under "My Account," click on "Your Portal Settings." In the "Password" field, type your current password and click on the "Change Password" button. Type your new password in the "New Password" field and click on the "Change Password" button.
How to sign out of your Portal Staff account
If you ever need to sign out of your Portal Staff account, there are a few ways that you can do so.
1) Click on the 'Sign Out' button located in the upper-right corner of your Portal Staff account page.
2) If you are using a desktop computer, go to portal.nih.gov/login and click on the 'Sign Out' link located in the upper-right corner of your account page.
3) If you are using a mobile device, go to portal.nih.gov/login and tap on the three lines in the top left corner of your account page, followed by the 'Sign Out' link.
