How to login to Portal 1
If you are having trouble logging into Portal, you may need to enter your user name and password. Here is how to do it:
1. Click the "Login" button on the top right-hand corner of the Portal screen.
2. Type in your user name and password, and then click the "Login" button.
3. If you are not automatically logged in, you will be prompted to enter your user name and password again.
How to change your password
To change your password, log in to your account and click on “My Account” in the top menu. Under “Login Details,” you will find a section called “Password.” Click on this to open the password form. You can now enter a new password and confirm it.
How to create an account
To login to Portal, first you will need to create an account. To do this, click the "Sign In" button on the home page and follow the instructions. Once you have created your account, you will be able to access all of the features of Portal.
How to add content to Portal 1
To add content to Portal, you first need to login. To do this, go to the HOME page and select CONTENT. From here, you can select either a My Portal or an Existing Portal.
To create a new portal, select NEW PORTAL from the CONTENT menu. This will take you to the NEW PORTAL screen. Here, you will need to enter the following information:
Name: This is the name that you will use to identify your portal on the website.
Description: This is a brief description of your portal.
Category: This is a category under which your portal will fall. There are many different categories available, so feel free to choose one that best suits your content.
Public/Private: This setting determines whether your portal will be publicly viewable or private. If you want to keep your portal private, make sure this box is checked.
Click NEXT to move onto the SECURITY screen. Here, you will need to enter the following information:
Hostname (or IP address): This is the hostname or IP address of your Portal server. You can find this information by going to Control Panel > System and Security >
How to delete content from Portal 1
If you want to delete content from Portal, you first need to login to your account. You can do this by clicking the "Login" link in the upper-left corner of the Portal home screen.
Once you have logged in, click on the "Profile" tab and then select "Content." You will see all of the content that you have created or edited in Portal.
To delete a content item, simply click on it and then select "Delete." This will remove the content from your Portal account and from all of your devices.
How to manage your account
1. To manage your account, you need to login to portal. This can be done by clicking on the "Login" button found in the top right corner of the portal window.
