How to export project data
If you are working on a Podio project, and you want to export your data in a different format or to share it with someone else, you can use the Export Project Data feature. To export your project data:
1. Open your Podio project.
2. In the upper-left corner of the page, click the three lines in a blue box that reads "Project Data."
3. Under "Export," select "Export Project Data."
4. On the next page, enter a name for your exported file and select a destination folder. (You can also choose to have Podio save your exported data into a Google Drive directory.)
5. Click Save.
6. Now you can open the exported file in any text editor or spreadsheet program!
How to import project data into Podio Portal
If you have already created a Podio project and imported the data into your account, you can skip this section. If you have not yet created a Podio project, or if you want to import your project's data into a new Podio Portal instance, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Podio account.
2. Click the "Projects" link in the top left corner of the homepage.
3. In the "Projects" page, click the name of your project to open its details page.
4. On the "Data" tab, click the "Import" button next to your project's data file (.pdo).
5. In the Import Project Data dialog box, select your project's data files and click OK.
6. On the "Data Files" tab, under "Saved Data Files", locate and select your project's .pdo file(s).
7. Click OK in the Import Project Data dialog box to finish importing your project's data into Podio Portal.

If you're new to Podio, or just haven't used it in a while, here are some tips on how to login and get started:
1. Log into Podio Portal using your email address and password. If you've never used Podio before, you can create an account by clicking the "Create Account" button on the homepage.
2. You'll see the main menu on the left side of the screen. On the top menu, click "Settings" and then "Preferences." In the "Preferences" window, click "Account" in the left column and then click "New Account." Enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields and click "Save Preferences."
3. Now you'll need to add a connection to your Podio account. Click on the "Connections" tab at the top of the Preferences window, and then click on "+Add Connection." Select your Podio account from the drop-down list and enter your username and password. (You can also connect to a specific project.)
