How to Login to the Planning Portal:
To login to the Planning Portal, individuals must have a valid NetID and password. NetIDs can be found at https://accounts.universityofcolorado.edu/NetID/. To create a new password, enter your NetID and desired password in the password form on the login page. Once logged in, click “Forgot Your Password?” in the upper right corner of the screen to reset your password. If you have forgotten your NetID or password, please contact the Help Desk at 303-492-3333.
Creating a New Planning Portal Account
If you have not created an account yet, please follow these easy steps:
1. Click the Login link on the top of the page.
2. Enter your username and password.
3. Click the Create Account button to create your account.

Navigating the Planning Portal
The Planning Portal is a one-stop-shop for planners and developers to access planning data, applications, and services.
To log in to the Planning Portal, users must first create an account. After logging in, users can access their account information, plan data, applications, and services.
To create an account:
1. On the Planning Portal home page, click Account in the top right corner of the screen.
2. In the resulting panel, click Create Account.
3. Fill out the fields and click Next.
4. You will be prompted to select a plan or region from which to access your account data. Select your plan or region from the list and click Next.
5. Review your information and click Finish to create your account.
After you have created an account, you can access your account data by clicking on My Account in the top right corner of any Planning Portal page. You can also find this icon on any application page:

Editing Your Plans
If you're looking to edit your plans, the first step is to login to your planning portal. To do this, go to:
https://portal.planning.gov/login
Once you're logged in, click on the "My Plans" tab at the top of the screen. You'll see a list of all of your current plans, as well as an "Edit" button next to each one. If you'd like to create a new plan, click on the "Create a New Plan" button at the bottom of the screen.
Saving Your Plans
If you have plans saved in the Planning Portal, you can login to the Planning Portal and retrieve your plans. To login to the Planning Portal, follow these steps:
Visit planningportal.gov and sign in using your username and password. Click on My Plans on the left-hand navigation bar. Your plans will be listed under My Plans in the main body of the page. Click on a plan to open it in a new window. If you have multiple plans open, you can close some of them by clicking on the X next to their name.
