Parent Portal Overview
Parent Portal is a new feature of OMS that helps you manage your school’s policies, schedules, and records. You can access Parent Portal from anywhere in the OMS system, including your school’s website. To login to Parent Portal, follow these steps:
1. Go to https://oms.myschool.com/.
2. In the top left corner of the screen, click the gear icon ( ).
3. In the pop-up box that appears, click Parent Portal ( ).
4. On the home page of Parent Portal, click Login ( ).
5. Type your school username and password in the appropriate fields and click Log In ( ).
How to Log Into Parent Portal
Parent Portal is a new way for parents to keep up with their student’s academic progress and activity. Parent Portal is an online portal that allows parents to view grades, transcripts, test scores, attendance records, and more. To login to Parent Portal, follow these steps:
1. Visit the parent portal website at http://parentportal.com/.
2. Enter your username and password into the login form.
3. Click the “Log In” button.
4. On the next page, click the “My Students” tab to view your student’s information.
Parent Portal My Account
The Parent Portal gives parents access to their student’s grades, attendance, contact information, and more. To login to your Parent Portal account, follow these steps:
1. Go to https://parentportal.oms.k12.wa.us/login/.
2. Enter your email address and password.
3. Click “Log In”.
4. You will be taken to the “My Accounts” section of the Parent Portal. Here you can view all of your child’s important records and account activity.
Setting Up Parental Controls
Parent Portal is a new feature in Google Chrome that allows parents to manage their children's internet usage. Parent Portal can be accessed by visiting chrome://settings/parental Controls and logging in with your Google account.
There are several ways to use Parent Portal:
-To restrict specific websites or activities, click on the "Restrictions" link. You can choose to block any site, or a subset of sites, from being accessed.
-You can set limits on the time spent online, the number of hours online each day, or the amount of data used each month.
-You can also set up daily schedule reminders to keep children on track.
Managing Accounts and Settings
If you have a Parent Portal account, logging in is easy. Here are the steps:
1. Click the link in the email you received when your Parent Portal account was created.
2. Enter your Parent Portal username and password (if you have them).
3. If you're prompted to create a password, do so now.
4. You're done! Your home page should look something like this:

Resetting Your Password
If you forget your Parent Portal password, please follow these instructions to reset it.:
1. Log in to your Parent Portal account by clicking the login button on the top right corner of any Parent Portal page.
2. Click the "Forgot your Password?" link on the "My Account" page.
3. Enter your email address and click the "Reset Password" button.
4. Enter your new password twice and click the "Reset Password" button again.
Deleting Your Account
If you no longer have use for the Parent Portal, you can deleted your account by following these steps:
1. Log in to the Parent Portal.
2. Click on the My Account link on the top right of the screen.
3. On the My Account page, click on the Delete Account button.
Please enter your username and password if you have already logged in to the Parent Portal. If not, please create an account first by clicking on the Create an Account link on the top right of this page. Once you have logged in, follow these steps to delete your account:
1. Enter your username and password in the appropriate fields on the My Account page.
2. Click on the Delete Account button.
