How to add a new student
Adding a new student to the Parent Portal is easy! First, log in to your Parent Portal account. Then, click on the "Students" tab. Next, click on the "Add a New Student" button. You will be prompted to enter the student's name and email address. Once you have entered these information, click on the "Submit" button. The new student will now appear in the Students list on the Parent Portal.
How to change a student's password
If you are a parent of a student enrolled in Mustang, you may need to change their password. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Log into the Parent Portal at www.mustangiridley.k12.in.us.
2. Click on the “My Students” tab and select your student’s account from the list.
3. On the “Student Info” page, click on the “Password” link next to their name.
4. The “Change Password” page will open. Enter your new password in the text box and click on the “Change Password” button.
5. Your student will be notified of the new password via email and the Parent Portal page will update with a new “Passwords Updated” message.
How to view a student's online profile
If you are a parent of a student in Mustang, you can view their online profile on the Parent Portal. To access the Parent Portal, sign in to your account and click on the "Parent Portal" link at the top of the home page.
Once you are signed in, you will be able to view all of your student's information, including their grades, test scores, and assignments. You can also communicate with your student through their online profile.
How to block or unblock a student
If you would like to block a student from accessing their Parent Portal, please follow these steps:
1. Login to the Parent Portal using your student's login credentials.
2. Under the Blocked Students tab, select the student you would like to block from accessing the Parent Portal.
3. Click on the Block button.
4. The student will no longer be able to access their Parent Portal account.
