What is the Parent Portal?
The Parent Portal is an online resource for parents and guardians of students in Collingwood District School Board (DSB) schools. The Parent Portal provides parents and guardians with easy access to student information, including:

The Parent Portal is accessible from home or school, and can be used to manage a variety of student activities and communications. To access the Parent Portal, please go to www.collingwooddsb.ca/parentportal and sign in. If you are not registered with the DSB, you will need to create a user name and password.
How to login to the Parent Portal
If you are a parent or guardian of a student at Collingwood School District, then you need to login to the Parent Portal. The Parent Portal is a great way for parents to stay connected with their student, view their grades and more! Here are the steps to login:
1. Go to collingwood.k12.mi.us and sign in.
2. On the left-hand side, under “Parent Resources”, click on the “Parent Portal” link.
3. Enter your username and password (which you created when you signed up for an account), and click “Log In”.
4. You will be taken to the main Parent Portal page. Under “Parent Accounts”, you will see all of your children’s accounts (if they have any).
5. Click on your child’s name to view their account information, including their grades and school activities.
6. If you need to contact your child’s teacher or administrator, click on the “Contact Teacher/Administrator” link next to their name, and enter their contact information into the form that appears
Changing Your Password
If you forget your Parent Portal password, you can reset it by following these instructions.:
1. Log in to your Parent Portal account.
2. Click on the "My Account" tab on the top navigation bar.
3. Under "Login Details," click on the "Reset Password" link next to your username.
4. Enter your new password in the "New Password" field and click on the "Reset Password" button.
5. Click on the "Login" button to return to the main Parent Portal page.
Deleting Your Account
If you're looking to delete your Parent Portal account, there are a few different ways to do so.
One way would be to go to the Parent Portal home page and select the "account" link in the top left corner. This will take you to a page where you can select "delete my account."
If you don't want to lose all of your data, you can also delete your account by going to your child's portal and selecting "settings" on the top right corner. From here, you can select "account" and then "delete my account."
Lost or Stolen Passwords
If you have forgotten your password, or if your password has been lost or stolen, please follow these steps to reset your password:
1. Log in to Parent Portal using your username and password.
2. Click on the “Forgot Password?” link next to your name in the left nav bar.
3. Enter your Username and Email address in the fields provided and click on the “Submit” button. If you have not already created a My Account, we will create one for you and send you an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
4. If you have already created a My Account, simply enter your Username and Password in the fields provided and click on the “Reset Password” button. You will then be prompted to confirm your new password.
Resetting Yourpassword
If you forget your password, reset it by clicking on the link below. Once you are logged in, click on the "My Account" tab and then on "Reset Password." Enter your email address and new password, and click on "Reset Password."

If you need to contact Collingwood Community Services, the quickest way to do so is through their parent portal. The parent portal is a website that parents and guardians can use to manage their account information, register for events and services, and more. To login to the parent portal, follow these steps:
1. Go to collingwood.ca/parentportal.
2. Enter your email address and password in the appropriate boxes and click "Log In."
3. You will be taken to the main page of the parent portal. Click on "My Account" in the top left corner of the page to see all of your account information.
