Parent Portal Brentwood Overview
Parent Portal Brentwood is a web-based system that helps parents manage their student’s academic and behavioral records. Parents can view and print reports on their child’s performance, track progress, and files reminders for upcoming events.
Login to Parent Portal Brentwood:
Parents first need to login to their personal account. To do this, they will need the following information: Username (e-mail address), password, and date of birth.
Once logged in, parents can access the Parent Portal by clicking on the “Parent Portal Brentwood” tab on the home page.
To start using the Parent Portal, parents will need to create an account. This can be done by clicking on the “Create an Account” button on the main Parent Portal Brentwood page. Once created, parents will be prompted to enter their username and password.
Once logged in, parents will see a list of all of their children’s records. Each record has the following information: Date Created, Date Updated, Title, Username, Password, and Notes. The notes field can be used to add any additional comments or explanations about the record.

How to Log In
To login to your Parent Portal, follow these instructions:
1. Go to www.brentwood.k12.ca.us and sign in using your school district's login credentials.
2. Click on the "Parent Portal" link in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
3. Enter your user name and password, and click on "Log In."
4. You will be taken to the Parent Portal home page. Click on "My Account" in the center of the home page to view your account information, or click on "Activity Log" to view recent activity in your child's school.
How to Change Your Password
If you have forgotten your password, or need to change it, follow these simple steps:
1. Log in to your Parent Portal.
2. Click on the “My Account” tab on the left hand side of the screen.
3. Enter your username and password into the respective fields and click on the “Login” button.
4. On the “My Account” page, click on the “Password” link in the main body of the page.
5. Enter your current password into the text field and click on the “Change Password” button.
6. After you have updated your password, click on the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page to return to the main page of your Parent Portal.
How to View Parent Portal Activity
Brentwood parents can view their child’s activity on the portal by logging in to their account. Parents should first create an account on the portal and then login. To create an account, parents will need to provide their name and email address. After creating an account, parents can login by entering their username and password. Once logged in, parents can view their child’s activity by clicking on the “My Account” tab on the top right corner of the portal. The My Account page lists all children in the parent’s school district and displays a list of recent activities for each child. Parents can also click on the “View Activity” link on the My Account page to view a detailed activity report for their child.
How to Report a Problem
Parent portal issues can be difficult to find and resolve. If you are experiencing an issue with the Parent Portal, please follow these steps to report your problem.
1. Go to the Parent Portal homepage and sign in.
2. Click on the "My Account" tab.
3. On the "My Account" tab, under "Login Problems," click on "Report a Problem."
4. Provide as much information about your issue as possible, including:
-The time and date of the issue
-How you initially encountered the problem
-Any screenshots or videos that may help illustrate the issue
-Any other information that may help us troubleshoot the problem
